OSBM launched a new grants system, which went live on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017 ( All actions previously entered in the CRIS and NCGrants systems are now entered in the new system. Since the new system launch, the old NCGrants system has been available for existing users to log in and view historical information. Over the next couple of weeks, the NCGrants system will be completely phased out and shut down. OSBM has downloaded all historical awards and payment information. Anything else that users would like to download will need to be completed before April 30, 2018. Any links on agencies’ websites should also be updated accordingly.

State agency users needing to access the new grants system will need to log in with a user id and password. If you do not yet have a user id and password, please download and complete the CRIS and NCGrants Access Authorization Form . To access the new system, please go here:

Please note that recipients will not need access to the new system. Previously, grant recipients submitted annual reports in the old NCGrants system. Effective August 1, 2016, reporting is now filed directly with funding agencies. This change is the result of recent changes to the State Rules (09 NCAC 03M) governing the reporting process for non-state entities receiving State financial assistance. Since reporting is now submitted directly to funding agencies, recipients will not need access to the new grants system. For questions on reporting, recipients should contact their funding agency.

For more information regarding the transition, please see the memo that was sent out on July 19, 2017 and the memo sent out on April 16, 2018.
